I just left my hat on a city bus while transporting WAY too many groceries for one person to carry. I get so attached to my hats yet I lose them nearly every year. At least this hat lasted two whole winters.

Wow, tough decisions. Risky decisions. Decisions I need to make really, really soon.
So, I haven’t had to pay the extra dollar for “freeway fare” on the bus in the last week. Sweet for me, but fail on the bus drivers.
If at first you do succeed, try again anyway. And again, and then again. If what you’ve done has already been approved, do it again anyway. And then again, of course. By the end of the week, you should have performed the same task 20 different ways, ending up exactly where you started. Go home for the weekend and repeat it all next week.
Anybody who knows me well enough is already aware at how bad I am at paperwork and how much I avoid doctors. Thus, I’m really living a nightmare right now trying to sort through the insurance papers after getting the MRI done on my knee. I have a few pieces of paper that say “This is NOT A BILL” and then proceed to tell me how much I owe. Um, help? I can find the same documents online but there are no payment instructions of any sort. I’m beyond confused.
The bus made me look like a fool again. I really thought I had the schedule all figured out so I stuck at home for an extra 10 minutes this morning to time the bus perfectly. Well, as I was approaching my stop I saw my bus flying down the road so I sprinted to it and boarded in the middle of the intersection. The bus driver then told me I had to get off since he wasn’t going back to the stop. He was an old, retired looking guy and the way he said “I’m not going back there” reminded me of every cheesy Vietnam movie I’ve ever seen.
Thankfully, the bus that was going to my stop arrived 2 minutes later getting me to work on time albeit confused.
One man's attempt to get through just one day without messing something up.
